Cars on First – Media Credential Application

Cars on First invites qualified members of the media to apply for credentials to cover this high-energy community event, which brings together car culture, local business, and grassroots nonprofit impact. This year’s proceeds benefit Ubuntu Spirit, Inc., a Fort Myers-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit addressing food insecurity through direct outreach and community care.

Approved media will have access to featured vehicles, interviews with event organizers, sponsor activations, and unique community stories that highlight the heart and energy of Downtown Fort Myers.

Who Should Apply

Accredited photographers and videographers
Public access media outlets
Verified influencers with press partnerships or nonprofit focus

Credential Application Requirements

To be considered for access, applicants must submit:

Full Name & Title
Media Outlet or Affiliation
Website URL or Social Media Handle (if applicable)
Work Email & Phone Number
Type of Coverage Requested (e.g., video, photo, interview, live coverage)
Samples or links to recently published work
A short statement (3–5 sentences) explaining your interest in covering Cars on First and the value it brings to your audience
(Optional) Links to past coverage of community events or nonprofits

Important Media Guidelines

Pre-Approval is Required – No walk-up press credentials will be issued
Check-In Required – All media must check in at the designated entrance and wear their official media badge at all times
Drone/Aerial Use – Must be pre-approved and fully licensed
Content Use – Photo and video content must be used only for editorial, promotional, or journalistic purposes
Code of Conduct – Organizers reserve the right to limit or revoke access for non-compliance
